“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:16
Old Suwanee Baptist Church strives to reach boys and girls in our community for Christ. The children’s ministries we have focus on teaching children about God, how much He loves them, and how they can know God personally.
Leadership
All workers are trained, qualified, have met strict criteria set by Pastor Campbell, and care about the precious souls of children. Many of our workers have over 20 years experience of working in their particular children’s ministry.
Activities
- Children’s Sunday School classes meet every Sunday morning at 10:00 am. Children are separated by grade and age. This is a great time for them to get to know other children and participate in exciting lessons about God and Bible heroes.
- Children’s Churches meet every Sunday morning at 11:00 am. Children are separated into two groups: Primary Children’s Church is for 3 year old – 2nd grade, and Junior Children’s Church is for 3rd – 6th grades.
- AWANA Clubs meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. These groups are also separated by age. This time includes memorizing Scripture, singing, listening to a sermon, and much more. Children work hard to earn different awards and badges throughout the school year.
Buses are available to pick up children and families for all services. Please contact Bro. Doyle Jackson at 770-401-8979 if you are interested or have questions regarding the bus ministry.
Please call the church office for more information regarding children’s ministries at 770-945-5451.
