He completed his undergraduate degree in education at Tennessee Temple in 1980. He completed his graduate degree in ministry from Pensacola Theological Seminary in 2007.
Pastor came to the church in 1984 to help Pastor McHoyt Moore start the Christian School ministry where he served as the full-time administrator until 2012. He was called to the church to be the Associate Pastor in 1995 and as the Pastor after the retirement of Preacher Moore in 2005.
He has been married to his college sweetheart, Sandra, since 1979. She enjoys working in the ministry teaching, counseling, and leading the ladies visitation ministry. She taught in the Christian School and supervised the elementary grades from 1984 until 2010. The Campbells have three children and eight grandchildren.
The Lord has blessed Pastor Campbell in his thirty-seven years of preaching the gospel and training others to serve the Lord. His life verse is, “According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” – Philippians 1:20-21.
